ICELANDIC COAST GUARD
The Icelandic Coast Guard (Landhelgisgæsla Íslands) was established in 1952 but the ownership and management had been under the Government shipping (Ríkisskip) from 1929. To day the Coast Guard ownes four vessels.

The Aviation division has one Fokker Friendship aircraft and two helicopters Aerospatiale AS 332L1 Super Puma and Aerospatiale SA-365N Dauphin. They can also be found ond website by Baldur Sveinsson. (Aircraft of the Icelandic Coast Guard by Baldur Sveinsson)
